A Note from our VP of Membership
Hi! My name is Natalie Cyr and I’m Delta Zeta’s Vice President of Membership! Being a part of a Panhellenic sorority has given me so many opportunities to meet so many amazing women within the Panhellenic community, as well as so many wonderful and unique people from other Greek organizations. As a Panhellenic woman, I have been able to develop my leadership skills by being on the executive council for DZ, improve my grades, and grow as an individual — all thanks to my sisters!
My goal as VP of Membership is to have our Delta Zeta chapter continue to grow and flourish within the lovely Panhellenic community, and I encourage you all to join the Greek community! To sign up for Panhellenic recruitment, just follow the link above! By going through recruitment, not only will UConn feel a lot smaller, but you will open yourself up to a whole new world full of amazing adventures, memories, opportunities, and friendships to last a lifetime! I hope you consider signing up for Panhellenic recruitment this upcoming fall, and wish you luck on your journey!
Best, Natalie Cyr, Vice President of Membership
A Note from our VP of New Member Education
Hey guys! My name is Melanie Lee and I am Delta Zeta Gamma Beta chapter’s New Member Educator. I am a Junior Allied Health major on track to get my bachelors and masters in nursing. Some of my favorite activities include gymnastics (I was a competitive gymnast for 13 years), hanging out with my sisters and friends, traveling, and working as an EMT. I fell in love with Delta Zeta because it has given me so many chances for personal growth, and challenged me to be a leader.
Finding a home in Delta Zeta has given me a sense of family, and I know I will always have someone to lean on. The friends and sisters I have gotten from being in this sorority on campus made our large UConn community feel so much more like home. It is such an amazing feeling to always have a familiar face, and to know the girls you sit next to in class could be your future bridesmaids.
This semester, I am delighted to welcome a wonderful new member class to our sisterhood. As Vice President of New Member Education, I am so excited to share our history and our family with girls who will continue to help our chapter grow, and set the stage for the future. Being part of a Panhellenic organization has been such a rewarding part of my college experience, and I am excited to share this passion and welcome our New Member Class of 2019 home!
Go Huskies! Melanie Lee, Vice President of New Member Education
